In the Virtual Reality Rendering Lecture, we discussed cameraless position tracking using Valve's Lighthouse as a way to capture the motion of VR headset using a rotating laser and measuring the amount of time it takes the laser to bounce back to the camera. Could this same technique be applied to motion capture, possibly reducing the costly set-ups?
